what if I said that all but 2 kittens that have died of the FIP in my house, all came from that same facility....

I certainly find it food for thought. I checked them out and they are also working with the retroviruses. Very scary. I also find it interesting that the shelter you mention claim they are euthanizing less animals over the last few years. I have to wonder if that's not because they are giving pets to them for experimentation. So sad that this happens but I know it does.
